Beginning in January 2008, I will be teaching a weekly class on Media Production Studies to a local homeschool co-op. I am developing the curriculum from scratch along with my friend and pastor John McLeod. We are seeking to introduce the students to the broad world of Media Production, so the course will cover many engaging topics. But here's the catch.

The classes will be only an hour long and the semester lasts for 12 weeks, which doesn't give us much time to discuss in-depth such varied concepts as the history of mass media, live and recorded sound, photography and cinematography, and internet media. But I had the great idea that I could use the Cross-eyed Studio blog to deliver the course in greater depth as a suppliment to the students, and for anyone on the web!

We'll get started in mid-January. I'll create a new category for the course blog entries and maybe even tie in an RSS feed.
